Start feeling more like yourself again

Life can feel overwhelming when you’re carrying anxiety, stress, past experiences, or the weight of caring for everyone around you. You may look like you’re holding everything together on the outside while feeling exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of yourself on the inside.

Allison specializes in working with adults, parents, and women’s mental health, helping clients navigate difficult seasons and reconnect with themselves.

She is especially passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and major life transitions. Allison works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, trauma, identity changes, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and the emotional challenges that can come with becoming or being a parent.

Therapy with Allison is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. You don’t have to have the perfect words or know exactly where to begin. Together, you can better understand what you’re experiencing, process what has been weighing on you, and develop healthier ways of moving forward.

Allison also works with children experiencing anxiety, trauma, divorce and family changes, emotional regulation difficulties, and behavioral concerns. As a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), she understands that children often communicate differently than adults. Through play therapy, children are given a safe, developmentally appropriate way to express emotions, process experiences, build confidence, and learn healthier ways of coping.

Allison’s approach is trauma-informed, relational, and person-centered. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and is working toward EMDRIA certification.

Above all, Allison wants therapy to be a place where you or your child can feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported—while gaining the tools and confidence needed to move toward healing and meaningful change.
